HomeMy WebLinkAbout16-150RESOLUTION 16-150 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District's budget, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the Florida Department of Health, in the total amount of $27,871.57, to mitigate the spread of the Zika virus. Of the funding provided, $1,290.33, is to be used to perform mosquito control services in Okeechobee County, and $26,581.24, is to be used to perform mosquito control services in St. Lucie County. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mosquito Control District of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 20th day of September 2016, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2015-2016, and the County's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 145-6234-369930-600 Reimbursements $27,872 APPROPRIATIONS 145-6234-512000-600 Salaries $ 759 145-6234-552000-600 Operating Supplies $ 379 145-6234-552300-600 Chemicals $26,734 Total Appropriations $27,872 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Commissioner Tod Mowery, Chair AYE Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky, Vice Chair AYE Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson AYE Commissioner Paula A.
