A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BUILDER'S AT RISK
PILOT PROGRAM FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SINGLE
FAMILY HOMES OR MULTIFAMILY UNITS PRIOR TO THE
COMPLETION OF THE SUPPORTING INFRASTRUCTURE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. The Builder's At Risk Permit Policy (the "'BAR" program) would allow for
the concurrent construction of home sites and subdivision infrastructure.
2. The Board should authorize and approve the BAR program as a pilot
program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Builder's At Risk Pilot
Program.
2. This Board directs staff to provide the Board with a status report on the
Program within one year from the date of this Resolution.
3. The Board hereby authorizes the Chairman to execute this Resolution and
further authorizes program documents as approved by the County Attorney.
4. This Resolution shall be effective upon adoption.
