A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY GRANT
AGREEMENT (#P0217) AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND
CORRECTNESS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. The State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity has awarded
the County funding for technical assistance to create a conceptual site plan for
Fisherman's Wharf Transition Zone.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Grant
Agreement (P0217) with the Department of Economic Opportunity for the above -
referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Grant Agreement (P0217)
with the State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity to provide funding for
technical assistance to create the Fisherman's Wharf Transition Zone Conceptual Site
Plan.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chairman to execute the above -
referenced agreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the
agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
