WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St.
Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available
from Indian River Lagoon Council, via a pass through grant from the United States Environmental Protection
Agency, in the amount of $125,000, for the Paradise Park Stormwater Project Phase 5 — System 4, and
setting up the funding for the County's matching funds.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 20th day of December 20, 2016, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2016-2017, and the County's budget is
hereby amended as follows:
