WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St.
Lucie County, additional funds to a current grant, not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have
become available from the City of Fort Pierce, in the amount of $10,000 as a reimbursement for OF/IFAS
Extension providing education through a Watershed and Lagoon Life Education Program within the City of
Fort Pierce.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 10th day of January, 2017, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2016-2017, and the County's budget is
hereby amended as follows:
