HomeMy WebLinkAbout17-019RESOLUTION NO. 17-019 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION GRANT AGREEMENT (#LP56020) FOR PARADISE PARK STORMWATER IMPROVEMENT PHASE 5A AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following determinations: 1. The Department of Environmental Protection has awarded the County funding pursuant to line item 1600A of the FY16-17 General Appropriations Act for Paradise Park Stormwater Improvement Phase 5A. 2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the grant agreement with the Department of Environmental Protection for the above -referenced project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida: 1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the grant agreement with the Department of Environmental Protection (LP56020) to provide funding for Paradise Park Stormwater Improvement Phase 5A. 2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chairman to execute the above -referenced agreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
