A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION LOCALLY FUNDED AGREEMENT (#230256-6-
52-02) FOR RECONSTRUCTION WORK OF SR-713/KINGS
HIGHWAY FROM 500 FEET SOUTH OF SR70 OKEECHOBEE TO N.
PICOS ROAD AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE
THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY
ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS
TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The Florida Department of Transportation has awarded the County funding for reconstruction
work of SR-713/Kings Highway from 500 Feet South of SR70 Okeechobee to N. Picos Road.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Locally Funded Agreement (#230256-6-
52-02) with the Florida Department of Transportation for the above -referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Florida Department of Transportation Locally Funded
Agreement (#230256-6-52-02) to provide funding for reconstruction work of SR-713/Kings Highway from 500 Feet
South of SR70 Okeechobee to N. Picos Road.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chairman to execute the above -referenced agreement and
further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on Resolution 17-018 was as follows:
