HomeMy WebLinkAbout17-056RESOLUTION NO. 17-056 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the Support Alliance For Emergency Resiliency (SAFER) St. Lucie as a pass-through grant from the United Way of St. Lucie County, in the amount of $10,000. The funding is for Public Safety to provide the training, planning, and exercise of SAFER St. Lucie Disaster Education. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 4th day of April, 2017 pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2016-2017, and the County's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 001828-2510-337640-29503 APPROPRIATIONS 001828-2510-512000-29503 United Way of SLC $10,000 Salaries $10,000 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky, Chairman Commissioner Tod Mowery, Vice Chairman Commissioner Linda Bartz Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson Commissioner Cathy Townsend PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED THIS 4TH DAY OF APRIL 2017.
