WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District's budget, certain
funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the Florida
Department of Health in the amount of $2,000.00 for reimbursement of training activities related to
mitigating the spread of the Zika virus for St. Lucie County.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District to
adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mosquito Control District of St. Lucie County, Florida, in
meeting assembled this 16th day of May 2017, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such
funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2016-2017, and the County's budget is hereby amended
as follows:

APPROPRIATIONS
145-6234-540000-600 Travel $1,000
145-6234-555000-600 Training -Seminar Registrations $1,000
