WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners
for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have
become available through a donation from Sunshine Laundry in the amount of $2,000. The
donation will help provide scholarships to 40 St. Lucie County youths or adults to receive
American Red Cross Swimming Lessons at St. Lucie County Pools.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to
adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 1st day of August 2017, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2016-2017, and the County's
budget is hereby amended as follows:
REVENUE
001-7215-366900-7106 Donations $2,000
APPROPRIATIONS
001-7215-552000-7106 Operating Supplies $2,000
