HomeMy WebLinkAbout17-155RESOLUTION 17-155 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the Florida Division of Emergency Management through a State Funded Sub -grant Agreement, in the amount of $105,806. The funding from the Emergency Management Preparedness and Assistance (EMPA) Trust Fund Program Base Grant is intended to enhance the County's Emergency Management Plans and Programs so they are consistent with the State Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and Program (SCEMPP) WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 1 st day of August, 2017, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2016-2017, and the County's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 001468-2510-334206-200 EMPA-FL Div of Emergency Management $105,806 APPROPRIATIONS 001468-2510-541000-200 Communications $ 50,403 001468-2510-543000-200 Utilities $ 50,403 001468-2510-551000-200 Office Supplies $ 2,500 001468-2510-552000-200 Operating Supplies 2,500 $105,806 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky, Chairman AYE Commissioner Tod Mowery, Vice Chairman AYE Commissioner Linda Bartz AYE Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson ABSENT Commissioner Cathy Townsend AYE PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED THIS 1ST DAY OF AUGUST 2017.
