HomeMy WebLinkAbout17-159RESOLUTION NO. 17-159 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available as revenues received from various sources, totaling $40,192.73. The revenues consist of the following: $1,630 for Florida Master Naturalist Program (FMNP) courses; $1,400 from a donation for hiking trail benches; $1,430 from phone charge reimbursements and the sale of saw palmetto berries; and $35,732.73 from insurance recovery payments due to a burglary at the Platt's Creek field operations office. The revenues will replenish the Land Division's grounds maintenance and operating supplies accounts and will be used for several preserves throughout St. Lucie County. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 1st day of August 2017, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2016-2017, and the County's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 001-3920-347210-300 Program Fees $ 1,630 001-3920-366930-300 Contributions from Private Sources $ 1,400 001-3920-369930-300 Reimbursements $ 1,430 001-3920-369970-300 Insurance Recovery $35,733 $40,193 APPROPRIATIONS 001-3920-546300-300 Grounds Maintenance $ 1,400 001-3920-552000-300 Operating Supplies $38.793 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky, Chairman AYE Commissioner Tod Mowery, Vice Chairman AYE Commissioner Linda Bartz AYE Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson ABSENT Commissioner Cathy Townsend AYE PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED TF'* 1ST DAY OF AUGUST 2017.
