WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St.
Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available as
revenues received from various sources, totaling $40,192.73. The revenues consist of the following: $1,630
for Florida Master Naturalist Program (FMNP) courses; $1,400 from a donation for hiking trail benches;
$1,430 from phone charge reimbursements and the sale of saw palmetto berries; and $35,732.73 from
insurance recovery payments due to a burglary at the Platt's Creek field operations office. The revenues
will replenish the Land Division's grounds maintenance and operating supplies accounts and will be used
for several preserves throughout St. Lucie County.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 1st day of August 2017, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes
that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2016-2017, and the County's budget is hereby
amended as follows:
