HomeMy WebLinkAbout17-169RESOLUTION NO. 17-169 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, through its partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, as a grant in the amount of $60,000, as funding for the County to construct an artificial reef by deploying artificial reef materials at the permitted Artificial Reef Offshore Site. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 15th day of August, 2017, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2016-2017, and the County's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 184230-4117-334396-39003 FL F&W Conservation Com $60,000 APPROPRIATIONS 184230-4117-534000-39003 Other Contractual Services $60,000 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky, Chairman AYE Commissioner Tod Mowery, Vice Chairman AYE Commissioner Linda Bartz AYE Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson AYE Commissioner Cathy Townsend ABSENT PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED THIS 15TH DAY OF AUGUST, 2017.
