NO. 17-179
WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St.
Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available
from a grant from the Federal Transit Administration, in the amount of $197,368. The funding from the
Federal Transit Administration Grant will provide funding to assist with the construction and maintenance
of existing transit infrastructure such as bus shelter, intermodal facilities and software and equipment to
support deviated fixed route services.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 5th day of September, 2017 pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2016-2017, and the County's budget is
hereby amended as follows:

APPROPRIATIONS
130128-4410-583000-400 Other Grants and Aids $197,368
