WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St.
Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available
from the Florida Department of Transportation, as a grant in the amount of $225,000, as funding for the
County for the design, permitting, and pre-construction services for Fisherman's Wharf Bulkhead and
Dredging Project at the Port of Fort Pierce.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 5th day of September, 2017, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2016-2017, and the County's budget is
hereby amended as follows:
REVENUE
324202-4315-334411-164618 Florida Dept. of Transportation $225,000
APPROPRIATIONS
324202-4315-563016-164618 Infrastructure-Design $225,000
