HomeMy WebLinkAbout17-202 RESOLUTION NO. 17-202 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available as from the Indian River Lagoon Council as a grant, in the amount of$15,000. The funding is to enhance the habitat on Wesley's Island in St. Lucie County, with the removal of invasive plants and the replanting of native plants on four acres of impacted upland. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 19th day of September 2017, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2016-2017, and the County's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 001827-3920-337940-300 Other Local Grants $15,000 APPROPRIATIONS 001827-3920-534000-300 Other Contractual Services $15,000 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky, Chairman AYE Commissioner Tod Mowery, Vice Chairman AYE Commissioner Linda Bartz AYE Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson AYE Commissioner Cathy Townsend AYE PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED THIS 19TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 2017.
