A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE MILLAGE RATES
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2017-2018
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the
following determination:
On September 7, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners had a meeting and it was recessed
to September 19, 2017, after TRIM notices were mailed to all property owners pursuant to Section
200.069, Florida Statutes, the Board of County Commissioners (sitting as the Board of County
Commissioners, the Mosquito Control Board, and the Erosion Control Board) held a public hearing to
consider adopting the tentative millage rates for fiscal year 2017-2018 and adopted the tentative millage
rates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
A. The following are hereby adopted as the tentative millage rates for fiscal year 2017-2018:

B. The proposed aggregate millage rate to be levied of 8.9082 is higher than the roll -back rate of
8.1349 as computed pursuant to Section 200.065(1), Florida Statutes by 9.51%.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:
