A RESOLUTION Or THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ST.
LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, VACATING THE PLAT KNOWN AS VERANO
MASTER PLAT RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 57 AT PAGE 25 TO 32 OF THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made
the following determinations:
1. Pursuant to Chapter 177.101, Florida Statutes, Verano Development, LLC a Foreign
Limited Liability Company ("Petitioner") has petitioned the Board of County
Commissioners of St. Lucie County to vacate the Plat known as Verano Master Plat
recorded in Plat Book 57 at Page 25 to 32 of the Public Records of St. Lucie County,
Florida (the "Plat")
2. On June 12, 2017, the City Council of the City of Port St. Lucie approved Resolution 17-
R36 vacating Verano Master Plat recorded in Plat Book 57 at Page 25 to 32. The
property owner has furnished the County with a certified copy of the resolution of the
City vacating the plat, and requested a resolution from the County approving the
vacation of the plat, per Florida Statute 177.101(4).
3. On August 1, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners approved Permission to
Advertise a Notice of Intent and Public Hearing to be held on September 5, 2017 at 6:00
p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible.

4. On August 9 and 16, 2017, a Notice of Intent and Public Hearing was advertised to be
held on September 5, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the St. Lucie
News Tribune.
5. County staff has reviewed Resolution 17-1336 and has no objections to the vacation of
the Plat and returning the land to acreage, as there were no dedications in favor of the
County on the Plat.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
Section 1: The above recitals are true, correct, and incorporated herein by this
reference.
Section 2; Verano Master Plat as recorded in Plat Book 57 at Page 25 to 32 is hereby
vacated and annulled and returned to acreage.
Section 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
