WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St.
Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available
from the City of Fort Pierce and the School Board of St. Lucie County in the amount of $50,000, as funding
for an interlocal agreement for lobbying services.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 19th day of December, 2017 pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2017-2018, and the County's budget is
hereby amended as follows:
REVENUE
001-1210-337930-100 School Board of St. Lucie County $25,000
001-1210-337910-100 City of Fort Pierce $25,000
APPROPRIATIONS
001-1210-531000-100 Professional Services $50,000
