WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St.
Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available
from the Department of Homeland Security through the Florida Division of Emergency Management in the
form of a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Grant in the amount of $7,000.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 19th day of December, 2017 pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2017-2018, and the County's budget is
hereby amended as follows:

APPROPRIATIONS
001592-2510-534000-200 Other Contractual Services $7,000
