(b)Wheneveranychangeoccursrelatingtotheinformationrequiredbythissection,the applicantorpermitteeshallgivewrittennoticethereoftothecountythirdpartyalarm administratorwithintendaysaftersuchchange. (c)Analarmsystempermitmaybedeniediftheapplicationisnotintheproperform, doesnotcontainallinformation,orfeesrequiredbythischapterarenotpaid. (d)Totheextentallowedbylawandintheinterestofpublicsafety,allinformation containedinandgatheredthroughthealarmpermitapplications,recordsrelatingtoalarm dispatchrequests,andapplicationsforappealsshallbeprivilegedinformationheldin confidencebyallemployeesorrepresentativesofthecountyandbyanythird-party administratororemployeesofathird-partyadministratorwithaccesstosuchinformation. CD18:28 Supp.No.6 EMERGENCYMANAGEMENTANDEMERGENCYSERVICES§18-98 (c)Owners,managerorlessees,oragentsofanyalarmsystemshallrespondtothealarm location,whenrequested,inordertoresetordeactivatethealarmsystemwithina reasonabletimeofnotification.Failuretoprovidesuchaccessshallresultinafalsealarm assessmentasprovidedinsection18-100. (d)Priortotheactivationoruseofanytypeofgeneralalarmdevicetheowner,manager orlesseeofthepremisesshallfurnishtothecounty©sthirdpartyalarmadministrator, informationregardingthefullnames,addressesandtelephonenumbersofatleastthree personsforcommercialpropertiesandtwopersonsforresidentialpropertieswhocanbe reachedatalltimesandwhoareauthorizedandhavethecapabilitytoenterthepremises anddeactivatethealarmdevice.Owners,managersorlesseesofthepremiseswithalarm devicesalreadyinstalledshallhave30daysfromtheeffectivedateoftheordinancefrom whichthisarticleisderivedtocomplywiththeabovenoticerequirement.Itshallbethe responsibilityoftheowner,managerorlesseeofthepremisestoprovideanupdatedlist annuallytothecounty©sthirdpartyalarmadministrator.Failuretodosomayresultina falsealarmassessmentsubjecttothesanctionsofsection18-100. (e)Allburglaralarmsystemshavinganaudibleorvisualsignalatthepremisesshallbe equippedsoastoautomaticallyshutofftheaudibleorvisualsignalafter15minutes,except thosesystemsrequiredbylawtohavealongeroperatingperiod,inwhichcasesaidsystem shallbeequippedsoastoautomaticallyshutofftheaudibleorvisualsignalattheconclusion ofthelongerrequiredoperatingtime. (f)Allalarmsystemsshallbeproperlymaintained.Systemmalfunctionduetofaulty maintenanceshallnotbegroundsforanexcusedfalsealarmassessment. (g)Allalarmsystemsshallobtainallnecessarypermitsandinspectionsforthe installationofthesystem. (h)Allalarmcompaniesthatsell,lease,install,operate,monitororhavetheresponsibil- ityforalarmsystems,shallmaintaintheappropriatelicenseasrequiredunderF.S.ch.489, andshallregisterannuallywiththecounty.Afineof$500.00shallbeassessedtoanyalarm monitoringcompanywhofailstoregister.Eachregistrationshallbevalidfor12months. Thealarmmonitoringcompanyshallprovidethefollowinginformation: (1)Name,streetaddressandtelephonenumber.Monitoringcompaniesshallmaintain, foraperiodofatleastoneyear,recordsrelatingtoalarmnotificationandshall providesuchrecordstothecounty©sthirdpartyalarmadministratoruponrequest,or afineof$125.00shallbeassessed.
