LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, BY PROHIBITING PARKING ON PEACOCK ROAD (BOTH SIDES) FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH OKEECHOBEE ROAD (SR 70) SOUTH A DISTANCE OF 3,020 FEET; AND BY PROHIBITING PARKING ON MIDWAY ROAD (CR712) (BOTH SIDES) FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH OKEECHOBEE ROAD (SR70)A DISTANCE OF 1,900 FEET TO THE WEST RIGHT-OF- WAY LINE OF NORTH ST. LUCIE WATER CONTROL DISTRICT CANAL #85 IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; SEVERABILITY AND APPLICABILITY; PROVIDING FOR FILING WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE; PROVIDING FOR ANEFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR ADOPTION; AND PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following determinations: 1. Section 125.01 {1) (m) and Section 316.008, Florida Statutes, 2. The attendance approximately forty {40%) authorizes the Board to regulate and prohibit parking. at the St. Lucie County Fair was up by percent which caused a parking problem on Peacock Road and Midway Road. 3. (d) Penalties for violation of this section shall be in accordance with State law. PART B. CONFLICTIN(~ PROVISIONS. Special acts of the Florida legislature applicable only to unincorporated areas of St. Lucie County, County ordinances and County resolutions, or parts thereof, in conflict with this ordinance are hereby superseded by this ordinance to the extent of such conflict. PART C. SEVERABILITY AND APPLICABILITY. If any portion of this ordinance is for any reason held or declared to be unconstitutional, inoperative, or void, such holding shall not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance. This ordinance shall be applicable within recorded subdivisions in unincorporated St. Lucie County. If this ordinance or any provision thereof shall be held to be inapplicable to any person, property, or circumstance, such holding shall not affect applicability to any other person, property, or circumstance.
