WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St.
Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available to
the Public Utilities Department, Solid Waste Division from insurance reimbursements related to a fire
impacting the Single Stream Recycling Facility, in the amount of $385,952.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in a meeting assembled this 17th day of April, 2018 pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes
that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2017-2018, and the County's budget is hereby
amended as follows:
REVENUE
401-3410-369970-39011 Insurance Recovery $385,952
APPROPRIATION
401-3410-599300-300 Reserves $385,952
