A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE
TREASURE COAST BUSINESS SUMMIT IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the
following determinations:
1. The Treasure Coast Business Summit was created in 2008 by a small group of local business
owners who banded together and combined their collective talents, reaching out to other
business owners and managers throughout the Treasure Coast.
2. The intention of the group was to help stimulate the economy by sharing ways to make
their companies more profitable, operate efficiently and grow their businesses strong in
a challenging economy.
3. In 2016, Dana Trabulsy and Lynette Marraffa purchased the Treasure Coast Business
summit and brought new life to the highly revered annual business community event.
4. The Treasure Coast Business Summit is designed to combine current and relevant real
world information and resources with some of the Nation's best motivational speakers.
This unique combination of information helps business owners and entrepreneurs identify
their inner strengths and provide the tools and resources necessary to implement positive
change in their business and personal lives.
5. In addition to the comprehensive agenda of regional and local speakers, attendees benefit
from the relationships that are forged through the networking opportunities and visiting
the business to business vendors who have supported the event.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
1. This Board does hereby recognize the 10th Anniversary of the Treasure Coast Business
Summit in St. Lucie County, Florida. The Treasure Coast Business Summit has continued
to grow and provide an enriching experience for all attendees, vendors and sponsors.
2. This Board encourages local businesses to create business to business relationships and
posture yourself and your business to meet the changing needs of our growing community.
PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED this 5T" day of June, 2018.
