HomeMy WebLinkAbout18-129RESOLUTION NO. 18-129 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the Department of Homeland Security through the Florida Division of Emergency Management as a Federally Funded Sub -grant Agreement, in the amount of $97,269. The funding from the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) is intended to enhance the County's Emergency Management Plans and Programs so they are consistent with the State Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and Program (SCEMPP) WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 24th day of July, 2018, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2017-2018, and the County's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 001598-2510-331233-200 Dept of Homeland Security $97,269 APPROPRIATIONS 001598-2510-541000-200 Communications $41,000 001598-2510-543000-200 Utilities $41,000 001598-2510-546000-200 Equipment Maintenance $15,269 $97,269 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows.- Commissioner ollows: Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson, Chair AYE Commissioner Linda Bartz, Vice Chair AYE Commissioner Anthony Bonna AYE Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky AYE Commissioner Cathy Townsend AYE PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED THIS 24TH DAY OF JULY 2018.
