A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE — NATURAL RESOURCES
CONSERVATION SERVICES NOTICE OF GRANT AND AGREEMENT AWARD (#NRCS-ADS-093) FOR
HURRICANE IRMA EWP— BANK STABILIZATION (VERADA DITCH & CHRISTENSEN ROAD AT CANAL
102) AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING
THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND
CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The U.S. Department of Agriculture — Natural Resources Conservation Service has awarded the County
funding for Hurricane Irma EWP -- Bank Stabilization (#NRCS-ADS-093).
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Notice of Grant and Agreement Award with the
U.S. Department of Agriculture --- Natural Resources Conservation Service for the above -referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Notice of Grant and Agreement Award with the U.S.
Department of Agriculture — Natural Resources Conservation Service to provide funding for Hurricane Irma EWP — Bank
Stabilization (#NRCS-ADS-093).
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above -referenced agreement and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on Resolution 18 -XXX was as follows:
