WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County
Commissioners for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption
of the budget have become available from Employers Mutual, Inc., in the amount of
$7,755.00, as reimbursement for the County's share of defense costs in an Inverse
Condemnation Lawsuit.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County
Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 21st day of August, 2018 pursuant to Section
129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year
2017-2018, and the County's budget is hereby amended as follows:

001-1410-369930-100 Reimbursements $7,755
APPROPRIATIONS
001-1410-531000-100 Professional Services $7,755
