A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING RATES FORTHE PORT
OF FORT PIERCE ON AN INTERIM BASIS AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, on September 21, 2017 the Board of County Commissioners authorized the
Chair to sign the Purchase and Sale Agreement with King Maritime Group, LLC and directed staff
complete the due diligence within the ninety (90) day Feasibility Determination and Approval
Period; and
WHEREAS, on January 18, 2018 the County closed on the Purchase and Sale Agreement
with King Maritime Group, LLC; and
WHEREAS, Section 815.03, Florida Statutes authorizes the Board to fix and collect rates,
rentals, fees and other charges for any of the services and facilities provided by the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
A. The Port of Fort Pierce rates, attached as Exhibit "A", are approved on an
interim basis.
B. This resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:
