HomeMy WebLinkAbout18-227RESOLUTION 18-227 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the US Department of Justice, in the amount of the $45,914 as an Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) for the Sheriff Office. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 13th day of November, 2018, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2018-2019, and the County's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 107197-2110-331210-200 Dept. of Justice $45,914 APPROPRIATIONS 107197-2110-591900-200 Transfer to Sheriff $22,957 107197-2110-581090-200 City of Fort Pierce $22,957 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson, Chair AYE Commissioner Linda Bartz, Vice Chair AYE Commissioner Anthony Bonna AYE Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky AYE Commissioner Cathy Townsend AYE PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED THIS 13TH DAY OF NOVEMBER 2018.
