WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St.
Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available
through Capital Lease Proceeds from Ford Credit in the amount of $2,177,663. The Capital Lease is a five
year term lease with Ford Credit to purchase the remaining 62 of the 115 patrol vehicles for the Sheriff's
Office.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 20th day of March, 2018 pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes
that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2017-2018, and the County's budget is hereby
amended as follows:
