A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, RECOMMENDING VAXINE
INC. BEAPPROVED APPROVED AS A QUALIFIED TARGET INDUSTRY
BUSINESS PURSUANT TO SECTION 288.106; FLORIDA
STATUTES; AFFIRMING THIS IS A HEADQUARTERS AND
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR
LOCAL FINANCIAL SUPPORT IN THE FORM OF CASH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Vaxine, Inc. Is a global leader in vaccine development; and,
WHEREAS, Vaxine, Inc. is seeking to locate their headquarter operations at the Florida Center
for Bio -Sciences in Tradition Center for Commerce in Port St. Lucie. This facility will encompass 40,000
square feet of existing space and employ 50 new employees at an average annual wage of at least
$43,888.00. The company's establishment of headquarter operations in Port St. Lucie will result in
significant contributions to the community with direct and indirect effects to local small businesses;
additional ad valorem taxes to the County; and job creation for County residents; and,
WHEREAS, Vaxine, Inc. plans to locate its headquarter operations in an existing facility and create 50
new jobs (Year 1:10, Year 2:10, Year 3:30) in St. Lucie County; and,
WHEREAS, Vaxine, Inc. has been identified as a Target Industry Business; and,
WHEREAS, Vaxine, Inc. intends to locate in an existing facility at Tradition Center for Commerce
in Port St. Lucie; and,
WHEREAS, Vaxine, Inc. will committo pay an average annual wage of at least $43,888.00 which
is 115%ofthe St. Lucie County average wage; and,
WHEREAS, Vaxine, Inc. hereby acknowledges that local financial supportof20%ofthetotal
tax refund is required under the provisions of Section.288.106, Florida Statutes, governing the
State's Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida, as follows:
A. The Board hereby recommends Vaxine, Inc. be approved as a Qualified Target Industry
Business pursuant to Section 288.106, Florida Statutes.
B. A cash commitment of local financial support for the Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund
Program exists for Vaxine, Inc. in the amount of $50,000.00. This amount will be made
payable to the Department of Economic Opportunity and made available in accordance
with the guidelines set forth by the Department of Economic Opportunity with the

stipulation that these funds are intended to represent local financial support pursuant to
Section 288.106, Florida Statutes.
C. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
