A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA FISH & WILDLIFE CONSERVATION
COMMISSION AGREEMENT (FWC NO. 19045) FOR DEPLOYMENT OF
OFFSHORE ARTIFICIAL REEF MATERIALS AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY
ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM
AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the
following determinations:
1. The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission has awarded the County funding
for deployment of offshore artificial reef materials (FWC No. 19045).
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Agreement with the Florida
Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission for the above -referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Agreement with the Florida Fish & Wildlife
Conservation Commission (FWC No. 19045) to provide funding for deployment of offshore artificial reef
materials.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above -referenced agreement and
further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and
correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on Resolution 19-224 was as follows:
