A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION DESIGN -BUILD PROCUREMENT AND ADMINISTRATION
PROCESS FOR THE EDWARDS ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE RESOLUTION AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE RESOLUTION BY
APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the
following determinations:
1. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) via the Florida Department of
Transportation has awarded the County emergency relief funding assistance for the Edwards Road
Reconstruction Project.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Design -Build Procurement and
Administration Process for the Edwards Road Project with the State of Florida Department of
Transportation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and adopts the Florida Department of Transportation Design -
Build Procurement and Administration Process for the Edwards Road Reconstruction Project.
2. The Board hereby authorizes the Chair to adopt resolution and further authorizes the
County Attorney to execute the resolution by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on the resolution was as follows:

Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson AYE

Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky AYE
PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED this 5th day of November 2019.
