WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St.
Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available to
the Environmental Resources Department, from Florida Department of Environmental Protection for grants
funds related to the Becker Preserve Oxbow Reconnection Grant Agreement, in the amount of $700,000.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 3rd day of December, 2019, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2019-2020, and the County's budget is
hereby amended as follows:

APPROPRIATIONS
316204-3920-546200-370000 Maintenance Improvement Projects $700,000
