A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
GRANT AGREEMENT (#LPA0050) FOR TAYLOR CREEK RESTORATION MUCK
REMOVAL PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The Department of Environmental Protection has awarded the County funding pursuant to line
item #1657A of the FY19-20 General Appropriations Act for Taylor Creek Restoration Muck Removal Project.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the grant agreement with the Department
of Environmental Protection for the above -referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the grant agreement with the Department of
Environmental Protection (LPA0050) to provide funding for Taylor Creek Restoration Muck Removal Project.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above -referenced agreement and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
