WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St.
Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available
from the U.S. Dept. of Justice through a Grant Agreement in the amount of $124,862 for the Sheriffs 2020
State Criminal Alien Assistance SCAAP Grant Program.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 28th day of January, 2020, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2019-2020, and the County's budget is
hereby amended as follows:
REVENUE
107505-2110-331210-210000 U.S. Dept. of Justice $124,862
APPROPRIATIONS
107505-2110-591900-210000 Transfer to Sheriff $124,862
