WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St.
Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available
from Employers Mutual, Inc., in the amount of $5,883 for reimbursement of defense costs in a business
transaction lawsuit.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 17th day of March, 2020, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes
that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2019-2020, and the County's budget is hereby
amended as follows:

001-1410-369970-140000 Reimbursements $5,883
APPROPRIATIONS
001-1410-531000-140000 Professional Services $5,883
