(SLC). Two (2) Deaths have been reported due to COVID-19 within SLC. Local State of Emergencies
have been declared in all sixty-seven (67) Florida Counties, forty-seven (47) Counties are a Level 2
(Partial) Emergency Operation Center (EOC) activation, eleven (11) are at a Level 1 (Full) activation
and nine (9) are not activated. The State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) is tracking 8620

three (3) County governments are fully closed, forty-six (46) County Governments are implementing
partial government closures and sixteen (16) County Governments have not implemented any

The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) was activated at 0800 hours on Wednesday, March 18,
2020. Medical and cleaning supplies remain on backorder with the Florida Division of Emergency
Management (FDEM). The State EOC has received an overwhelming amount of requests, therefore,
priority will be given to counties with the greater number of COVID-19 cases. In preparation for future
medical needs, St. Lucie County continues to support the Department of Health in identifying
potential alternative care sites. The County is disseminating information regarding COVID-19 and
County services to the public through "Alert St Lucie", Social Media, SLC's Website and Press
Briefings.
On March 27, 2020, Governor Ron DeSantis issued Executive Orders 20-86 & 20-87. Executive
Order 20-86 directs all persons who enter the State of Florida from an area with substantial
community spread, including Louisiana, to isolate or quarantine for a period of 14 days from the time
of entry or the duration of presence in the State of Florida, whichever is shorter.
Executive Order 20-87 orders all parties engaged in vacation rental properties to suspend vacation
rental operations. Vacation rentals are prohibited from making new reservations and accepting new
guests for the duration of this order.
The State is actively working to acquire testing resources, including new rapid tests. The State
continues to evaluate industry operations such as hair & beauty salons, spas and similar facilities.
As of Saturday, March 28,, 2020, the County, in coordination with the Sheriff's Office and the Florida
Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), continues to evaluate boat launch sites and boating
activities to ensure compliance with State issued, and social distancing, guidelines. Variable
