WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St.
Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available
from Gerber/Correctional Risk Services, Inc. (CRS), in the amount of $715,725 from the stop loss policy,
funds are for the inmate medical expenses.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 7th day of April 2020, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes
that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2019-2020, and the County's budget is hereby
amended as follows:
REVENUE
001-2300-369930-230000 Reimbursements $715,725
APPROPRIATIONS
001-2300-531300-230000 Inmate Medical Expenses $715,725
After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows:
