A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
LOCAL AGENCY PROGRAM (LAP)AGREEMENT(No.443224-1-58-01) FOR EDWARDS
ROAD RECONSTRUCTION—OLEANDER AVENUE EAST TO US HIGHWAY 1 PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY
APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The Department of Transportation has awarded the County Hurricane Irma Emergency Relief
funding from Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)for Edwards Road Reconstruction—Oleander Avenue East to
US Highway 1 Project.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the LAP agreement(No 443224-1-58-01)
with the Department of Transportation for the above-referenced project.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the LAP agreement with the Department of
Transportation (No.443224-1-58-01)to provide funding for Edwards Road Reconstruction—Oleander Avenue East
to US Highway 1 Project.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above-referenced agreement and further
authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second,the vote on Resolution 20-xxx was as follows:
