WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Budget for ;he St. Lucie
County Board of County Commissioners for St. Lucie County, certain funds for the St. Lucie County
Water and Sewer Utility District not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become
available in the amount of $990,000 from a grant from the Florida Department of Environmental
Protection for the District's North Hutchinson Island Septic to Sewer project.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to
adopt a resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Budget for the District to appropriate and
expend such grant funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 19th day of May 2020, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes, that such Grant funds are hereby appropriated to the District for the fiscal year 2019-2020,
and the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Budget is hereby amended by adding the following Budget line items
as follows:
REVENUE
479200-3600-334391-153605 Dept of Environmental Protection $990,000
Grant Proceeds
APPROPRIATIONS
479200-3600-563000-153605 Infrastructure-Septic to Sewer Project $990,000
