WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St. Lucie
County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available in the amount
of $16,855 from a refund from the Florida Department of Corrections (FDOC) related to the COVID-19
pandemic and the inability to utilize inmate work squads.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida,
in meeting assembled this 28th day of July 2020, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such
funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2019-2020, and the County's budget is hereby amended as
follows:

001-7215-369917-720000 Miscellaneous $16,855
APPROPRIATIONS
001-7215-546300-720000 Grounds Maintenance $16,855
