HomeMy WebLinkAbout20-192RESOLUTION NO. 20-192 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY — HAZARD MITIGATION PROGRAM GRANT AGREEMENT (No. 4337-435-R) FOR LAKEWOOD PARK DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT — PHASE 1 AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following determinations: 1. Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded the County funding for Lakewood Park Drainage Improvement Project — Phase 1. 2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the grant agreement with the Federal Emergency Management Agency for the above -referenced project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida: 1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the grant agreement with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (No. 4337-435-R) to provide funding for Lakewood Park Drainage Improvement Project — Phase 1. 2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above -referenced agreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness. After motion and second, the vote on Resolution 20-192 was as follows: Chair Cathy Townsend AYE Vice -Chairman Chris Dzadovsky AYE Commissioner Linda Bartz AYE Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson AYE Commissioner Sean Mitchell AYE PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED this 18th day of August 2020.
