A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AMENDING AND RESTATING RESOLUTION NO. 20-022 SUPPORTING THE TRANSPORTATION
ALTERNATIVES PROGRAM IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA RELATIVE TO SE WALTON ROAD
SIDEWALK (SE LENNARD ROAD TO SE GREEN RIVER PARKWAY).
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has made the following determinations:
1. On February 18, 2020, Resolution No. 20-022 was approved supporting the
Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) application. This resolution needs to be
amended and restated to meet current requirements.
2. Current applications require the County submit a Resolution confirming ownership of
project Right of Way.
3. Current applications require the County commit to funding the project.
4. This resolution amends and restates Resolution No. 20-022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Lucie County Board of County
Commissioners:
1. This Board does hereby proclaim its support for the Transportation Alternatives program
in St. Lucie County, Florida.
2. This Board does hereby confirm ownership of the Right -of Way for the project.
3. This Board does hereby commit to funding the project should the TAP Grant application
be approved. Funding will come from the Infrastructure Surtax.
4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
5. This Resolution shall be forwarded to the TPO.
