A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE SOUTH FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT
DISTRICT GOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 4600004386 TO FUND
CONSTRUCTION OF THE TAYLOR CREEK RESTORATION MUCK REMOVAL
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The South Florida Water Management District is administering Florida Inland Navigation
District (FIND) funding for construction of the Taylor Creek Restoration Muck Removal Project.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Governmental Agreement No.
4600004386 with South Florida Water Management District for the above -referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the South Florida Water Management District
Governmental Agreement No. 4600004386 for the construction of the Taylor Creek Restoration Muck
Removal Project.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above -referenced agreement and
further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on Resolution 21-072 was as follows:
