A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ST.
LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA REQUESTING REISSUANCE OF GRANT OF
AUTHORITY TO TRANSFER FOREIGN -TRADE ZONE NO. 218 FROM
TREASURE COAST FOREIGN -TRADE ZONE, INC. TO ST. LUCIE
COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the
following determinations:
1. Foreign -Trade Zone No. 218 was created pursuant to Foreign Trade Zones Board
Order No. 851, approved on October 24, 1996, and published at 61 Federal Register 58036 on
November 12, 1996.
2. Foreign -Trade Zone No. 218 currently consists of four sites and no subzones.
3. Treasure Coast FTZ, Inc. is currently the Grantee organization for Foreign -Trade
Zone No. 218.
4. Treasure Coast FTZ, Inc. wishes to transfer the grant of authority for Foreign -Trade
No. 218 to St. Lucie County.
5. The County is willing and able to accept the transfer of the grant of authority for
Foreign -Trade Zone No. 218.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
1. Subject to the approval of the Foreign -Trade Zones Board, the Board accepts the
transfer of authority for Foreign -Trade Zone No. 218 to St. Lucie County.
2. The above -referenced transfer of authority shall include the transfer of all existing
Zone sites.
