A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION — DISTRICT FOUR MAINTENANCE
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT(MOA NO. 2020-C-490-0006) FOR
STATE ROAD A1A AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY
TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND
CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made
the following determinations:
1. Acceptance of the Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement with the State of
Florida Department of Transportation for the construction, operation and
maintenance of State Road A1A between Mile Post (M.P.) 17.053 through M.P.
17.120 more fully described in the Memorandum of Agreement and associated
exhibits; to install pattern pavement, hardscape, patterned pavement parking
spaces, and crosswalk and maintain said improvements within the right-of way
of State Road A1A that fall within St. Lucie County rights-of-way constitutes a
purpose and is in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens
of St. Lucie County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Maintenance Memorandum of
Agreement with the State of Florida Department of Transportation to construct,
operate and maintain State Road A1A between Mile Post (M.P.) 17.053 through
M.P. 17.120.
2. The Board hereby authorizes the Chair to execute the above-referenced
agreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement
by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on this Resolution was as follows:
