A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE TRANSPORTATION
DISADVANTAGED TRIP & EQUIPMENT GRANT
AGREEMENT WITH THE FLORIDA COMMISSION FOR
THE TRANSPORTATION DISADVANTAGED. TO
PROVIDE FUNDING ASSISTANCE TO ST. LUCIE
COUNTY FOR A TRANSPORTATION
DISADVANTAGED TRIP & EQUIPTMENT GRANT
AND TO UNDERTAKE A TRANSPORTATION
DISADVANTAGED SERVICE PROJECT AS
AUTHORIZED BY SECTION 427.0159, FLORIDA
STATUTES, AND RULE 41-2, FLORIDA
ADMINISTRATIVE CODE AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE
THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND
CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. The Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged has awarded
the County funding assistance for Trip & Equipment (Financial Project No.
43202718401/43202818401.)
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the SFY23 with the
Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged for the above -referenced
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the SFY23 with the Florida
Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged (Financial Project No.
43202718401 /43202818401) to provide funding assistance to St. Lucie County for Trips
and Equipment.
2. The Board hereby authorizes the Chair to execute the above -referenced
agreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by
approving it as to form and correctness.
