A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
GRANT PROGRAM AGREEMENT AMENDMENT (FIN. PROJ. NO.415086-2-94-02) FOR
THE PORT OF FORT PIERCE'S HARBOUR POINTE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE AND
AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR AND COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. The Florida Department of Transportation has awarded the County funding for the Port of Fort Pierce's
Harbour Pointe Development Initiative (FIN. PROJ. NO. 415096-2-94-02).
2. On May 10, 2022, the County and the Department entered into a Public Transportation Grant
Agreement which the parties desire to amend.
3. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Public Transportation Grant Agreement
Amendment with the Florida Department of Transportation for the above -referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts the Public Transportation Grant Agreement Amendment with the State of
Florida (FIN. PROJ. NO.415086-2-94-02) to provide funding for the Port of Fort Pierce's Harbour Pointe
Development Initiative.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chair to execute the above -referenced Agreement Amendment and
further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as to form and
correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on Resolution 2022-135 was as follows:
