A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING
ACCEPTANCE OF THE DISTRICT FOUR (4) LANDSCAPE
MAINTENANCE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR
STATE ROAD 713 KINGS HIGHWAY —
FM NO.230256-8-52- 01 AND 438041-1-52-01
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made
the following determinations:
1. The State of Florida Department of Transportation ("Department") has jurisdiction over
State Road 713 (Kings Highway) as part of the State Highway System;
2. The Department seeks to install and have maintained by St. Lucie County ("County")
certain landscape improvements within the right of way of State Road 713 (Kings Highway) as
described in the State of Florida Department of Transportation District Four Landscape
Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement for State Road 713 Kings Highway — FM NO. 230256-
8-52-01 and 438041-1-52-01 ("MMOA");
3. In order to fulfill the requirements of the Department under this project, it is necessary for
the Department to receive a resolution from the County authorizing and approving the acceptance
of the MMOA by the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners, and authorizing the Chair
of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County of St. Lucie County
Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. This Board does hereby authorize and approve execution of the acceptance of the State of
Florida Department of Transportation District Four Landscape Maintenance Memorandum of
Agreement for State Road 713 Kings Highway — FM NO. 230256-8-52- 01 and 438041-1-52-01.
2. Further this Board authorizes the Chair of the St. Lucie County Board of County
Commissioners to execute the agreement.
